Adecoagro to Expand its S&E Cluster in Mato Grosso do Sul via Acquisition of Caarapó mill

Today marks another milestone in Adecoagro’s journey as we signed an agreement with Raízen to acquire its Caarapó Mill, located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

This transaction is a natural extension of our low-cost production model, which will allow us to strengthen our presence in the Sugar & Ethanol industry by building a more integrated, competitive cluster with greater growth potential in the region.

The mill, which processed 3.5 million tons of sugarcane during the last harvest, is located approximately 100 kilometers from our Angélica and Ivinhema mills, reinforcing our operational integration strategy.

This investment marks another step toward our vision to create long-term value, while driving sustainable growth.
